Question on indoor growing.
Hey guys, i have never grown indoors in my life. And i am looking to set up a tent of some size, not sure yet what size.
I know some people will say this is a stupid question but im wondering what kinda yield a person can pull on different tent sizes. And how many plants a person should run. I'm looking at a 48x48x78 with a 600 watt light..
Or a 78x78x78 with a 1000 watt.
Any input would be great + rep
my tent is 4' 9 " x 4' 9". i have put up to 45 one gallon grow bags and 20 2 gallon bags. i average 17, 3 gallon bags. it's crowded but i like it like that. you could do 12 to 16 easily if you do soil. some think it's too many. i laugh at them.
i'm averaging 17 oz per grow with a 600 watt and that's without doing anything special and pretty much ignoring them.

Is it the grow lab tent. I can't even make up my mind on the brand let alone size...lol

Is temps easily controlled. I was looking at that exact tent just a min ago. Just wasn't sure if i wanted bigger. Growlab is a little more expensive then some. But i'd pay extra if others were junk. Growace has some decent priced ones, but was leary because they were so cheap. What about ballast and light brands is there any to avoid.
actually those might be one gallon and 1/2 gallon bags. all seedlings. i ended up with 32 females.
How tall do you usaully grow them.check it out, 45 one gallon bags.

Sorry if it sounds dumb, but this will be my first time indoors. Did some cfl this year in closet for outdoor clones, and fell in love with plants around me at all times. Decided i want a grow room/tent.
I think they sell that light at GrowAce.

in my opinion, the best ballasts are nextgen! the purple ballasts, i forget their name SUCK! i had a 250 watt that died after a few months! after reading up on them, this happens a lot. avoid them. the best filter is Phresh! a good fan is Can fan and a decent light.
i have the tent in a spare bedroom so i don't close it up when the lights are on. if i was closing it up, i would hook up my fan and filter inside the tent instead of in the room, and the temps would be fine.
you're going to use this tent over and over again. get a good one. cheap is cheap for a reason!
people here would tell you to get a 1000 watt light in the size tent i have. don't listen to them. it's too hard to keep cool.
