what is your average yield per plant

what is your average yield per plant.

try and post a pic if possible but mainly the info im looking for is :

-Strain
-Veg time
-Flowering time
-Medium/equipment used
-Nurtient base and additives used
-Average DRY wieght per plant (no need to specify number of plants or total weight but if u had a crop just say crop average, if u had one just say one)
-Lights used
-Special techniques or topping methods if done
-And any other information that might help

the intended use for this is not to point out that your fish was bigger but merely to set a par for your self and to improve by learning and adapting other growers techniques.

being given the opportunity, i have spent a lot of time and money learning what works, what doesent, and what is a pain in the ass. and i think this might help people avoid a lot of the setback i initially had. although everyone has their own methods some things remain constant. the WANT to grow some killer bud and lots of it.

so please, whether you just harvested or are a seasoned veteran, post and enlighten us

i will be posting my results immediatly after i hit submit

i wanna see this become a sticky! im new to growing, i just switched to 400 watt hps, id say two weeks flowering now, white widow, dynomite, cannalope haze. 8 in tottal, in 3 gallon grow bags, and the general organic go box nutes.. with some cfl side lighting.. can any one guess what im gonna end up with? about 2 month veg maybe a little less

ok so.. thank you for sticking with me so far... now first off i am very open about my dealings with marijuana, and have so far been a successfull part of the cali society. if you have questions let me know i would love to answer them.

-Tahoe OG
-4 weeks veg from clone
-70 days flowering
-hydroton rock and ebb and grow 2 gallon bucket system for whole life span
-Canna Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, PK 13/14, Cannaboost(used as foliar spray twice a week) no co2 used
-the crops average dry weight was 2 ounces per plant of HIGH Quality bud
-multiple 1000 watt HPS were used the entire time at 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering
-i did not top any plants during the entire lifespan but did trim the bottoms up a little for good airflow only.
-try to run a closed loop ventilation system if you have heat problems or live in a hotter area. heat was not an issue but only because i had equipment handy to help. when running in a hotter environment, if you run an intake, exaust and airconditioning, you end up wasting electricity because you never actually get the room to the target temperature. having intake and exaust are very handy, but running your lights aircooled even with airconditioning is a better investment. maintaining a costant ph level in the resevoir was hard but dilligence paid off. my room was air tight and i used a Dr. Doom bug bomb prior to operations. i had no bugs other than a wasp that snuck in... luckily i stepped on him barefoot one day. i ran at a constant 78-80 degrees F temperature with humidity levels at 30-40% thanks to a dehumidifyer, air conditioning unit and some shotty light exaust thanks to lazyness on my part. here in california i was asked if i wanted it lab tested. result was 18% thc .7% CBD from a random bud. no molds or mildews were found

-G13 x Amnesia Haze
-4 weeks from clone
-12 weeks flowering
-hydroton rock and ebb and grow 2 gallon bucket system for whole life span
-Canna Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, PK 13/14, Cannaboost(used as foliar spray twice a week) no co2 used
-the crops average dry weight was 2 ounces per plant of MID to HIGH quality bud
-multiple 1000 watt HPS were used the entire time at 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering
-i did not top any plants during the entire lifespan but did trim the bottoms up a little for good airflow only.
-these were ran at the same time as the tahoe OG, so most of the above works for this as well. i did run into a problem however, the 2 gallon buckets with the ebb and grow could not hold the root mass and ended up causing slight root lock in the final weeks. this was my fault though since i had to wait a week extra in veg.
quality definatly deminished but not too bad. they had swollen enough to not hurt the weight too bad.

-Cloud 9, Sweet tooth and Grand-daddy-blueberry (they all had similar results
-1 1/2 weeks veg from clone
-7 1/2 weeks flowering
-hydroton rock and daisy chained 5 gallon Deep Water Culture buckets
-Canna Aqua Vega and Aqua Flores, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, PK 13/14, Cannaboost(used as foliar spray twice a week) no co2 used
-the crops average dry weight was 1.5 ounces per plant of MID quality bud
-multiple 600 watt MH were used at 18/6 for veg and multiple HPS at 12/12 for flowering
-i topped the cloud 9 plants once and had bad timing due to schedule so i had to throw into flowering causing smaller buds than i would have liked. the others had bigger buds but produced the same weight.
-i did have a few bug issues but with neem oil and a few sticky traps they disappeared quickly. temperatures stayed at 76-78 and induced a good purple to the sweet tooth. i did however run into powdery mildew slightly on a few of each due to a high humidity. i tried ed rosenthals PM spray but with no fix. after wards i learned about sulphur burners and eagle 20(use extreme caution if using eagle 20). i bought some eagle 20 but have not had to use since the purchase of a dehumidifyer

i have more tales with strains like purple buddha, BC god bud, NYC diesel, BC kush, Romulan, and more i cant remember as this joint lessens. so hopefully you post your first and last grow or maybe youve had a legendary crop. regardless i hope this helps in some way or another

i will post pics when i figure out why it wont let me haha

i did ask you a question what do you think im gonna pull? lol i wanna say three have been topped and 2 or thre have been f.i.m. ed

never count your chickeds before they hatch... depends on your veg time, strain, etc. ... general rule of thumb is for every 1000 watt light used to full or almost full potential, will yield around 1 lb dry give or take from my experience... my past run just gave about 1.5 lb per 1000 watt light.

i live in california where i can buy more clones than any one can imagine (unless your here too) so as far as where i got it... all i know is the tahoe og is from cali connection. all the strains i have were originally purchased as clone to be mothered out taking clones everynow and then to renew mothers.... and like i said i ran 12 plants per light

thanks for joining in. and wow thats a nice bud. but really 4+ ounces dry? i have had some big bushes and been lucky to pull off 3+ (indoor ofcourse.) im not doubting you just i was looking for more specific information and it was presented vaguely. i know there is a thread already on 12/12 growing but i think a condensed documentation might be helpful. espessially since there are 200+ pages in the 12/12 thread and lets face it we're stoners :). and if you do decide to repost please remember that this is for educational purposes, teaching proper techniques, and trying to eliminate some of the start up problems you might have initially had so that people just starting can start out on the right foot. so please spare no detail. im interested

i was thinking (if this thread gets a good response) about taking the condensed data from all entrys and adding them to the main post in hopes of making a more in detail "grow bible"(without pics for safety) that people working with all different types of rooms can go by in deciding their best route to take, with out all the hassle that us pioneers have gone through.

Hey Gang,

Great thread. I am starting my first indoor grow as I finish up my first outdoor. I have an 11X6 space to grow in and will be picking up two 1000W digital ballasts tomorrow. The room is in my 800 s.f. shop, that stays the same temp as outdoors, which, in the PNW is fairly cool all winter, say avg 45/35. I am thinking the lights will keep the room hot enough, but will install an intake fan and ceiling exhaust to keep air moving.

I have a few questions, please. I was thinking about using 7 gallon buckets and putting 2 plants in each. I will be using soil for my first grow. I am running Northern Lights clones. The outdoor grow has been pretty good looking, smells like heaven, and is pretty sticky.

1. How many plants can I put in a 7 gallon bucket in an indoor grow with 2 1000W HPS lights and hoping to veg for only 4-5 weeks?

2. How should I modify my plan to yield 2 lbs or more?

PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!

if using clone 4-5 weeks will yield quite nicely. from seed youll want em to get nice and rooted before you start your "veg time". i wouldnt recommend putting multiple plants in the same bucket unless you can divide the medium and root mass. maybe later in yout career ;). the plants in your pic for example would probably require a 5-7 gallon pot on its own. as long as you fill the canopy, with 2000 watts you should pull off 2 lbs. here are some more pics to help u get an idea ... IMG_0339.jpg

that ended up yielding 3 under 2 1000 watt veged for 4-5 weeks in hydro with a 12 x 6 canopy(slightly faster growth than soil)

here is another shot....IMG_0145.jpg sorry the pic sucks, but that yielded about 1.98 after 1 1/2 weeks of veg using DWC with a 10 x 5 canopy.....

so aslong as you can fill a 5x5 canopy per 1000 watt light you can expect approximatly 1 lb per. try and expect 1.5 - 2 oz per plant and you cant go wrong as a newbie (barring any catastrophies)

by the way your plants look good. if you have the same strain and can replicate size id say 12-16 ladies oughtta do the trick, maybe more if thats your preferance
