Yeah pics of some setups with the 8" fans and 6" carbon filters would be great.

Will take a look into some of the manufacturers that LoudBlunts suggested big thanks to you. Sure your advice is going to come in very handy since I haven't purchased any extraction equipment or fans yet.

Any more first hand experience with quiet fans and extraction??

Pics if possible please!!

Looking at a fan and filter that can move 250 cubic metres of air an hour. Would this be enough to remove the heat and odour on three plants in a 75cm x 75cm x 200cm grow tent with 600 watt HPS or would I need cool tube aswell?

Or more? Advice from the experienced growers amongst us please.

Thanks

Honestly, and I don't know about all brands, my tents roof even blows sack. The support (brackets) are more like fuckin piano wire. So add hood/light/ducting/fan/tubing and the damn things pretty much hang down 6-8" at LEAST, and that space is precious.

I couldn't even do anything that effectively with ducting inside the tent. I have 8 plants in there that are humongous and there just would be zero room for any of that stuff. Instead, I have a 12lb Carbon Filter attached to a fan that just removes the odor that sits on a stool next to the tent. Everything else is entirely passive... I just keep the room opened up and a window cracked. I did rig up a computer case fan, one of the 120mm ones, on 2 of the openings on the top and I just have them pumping the heat up.
