Lightbulb HOw many Cfm Do i need in a 4x4x7 hydro hut?
PLease help someone...........I bought 2 value line 6' intake fans and they were blowin 435 cfm but they were way to loud so i ordered 2 6' fans that are called the whistler they blow 235 cfm and are probably way quieter im assuming..... Do you think that is enough for my hydro hut?

yeah, that is more than enough. you should need no more than 200cfm for your setup. i am running the same cubic feet, and my 235cfm is fine.

you could of kept the loud ones and just ordered a speed controller

Depends on your lighting. I had a 1000-watt light in a Hydrohut for about a year. I tried cooling that with a 4" 170 CFm fan and it didn't even come close to doing the job. I left it on (since it still sucked dirty air through the carbon filter), and then I just left the hut open during lights on, with a 20" box fan blowing air conditioned air over the plants, and that did work. I probably needed a beefy 6" fan (440 CFM or so) with that light. Cats eventually destroyed my Hydrohut -- they love sharpening claws on that fabric, it's like a gigantic scratching post to cats. Heh.
