Hi,
Can one change the 12 hours of dark time to light and the 12 hours of light to dark?
Say one had the hps on from 6pm to 6am and it became a pain in the ass to care for the plants at this time, how would one change night to day? Let it stay dark for 24 hours or light for 24 hours? Or perhaps it would set back flowering so much it should not be changed at all? say one were only 3 weeks or so into flowering. big deal or no?

Why don't you just buy a timer and there won't be any 'caring' that really needs to go into it? The light will shut off on it's own, you won't have to get out of bed LOL



Just curious...didn't you think about this before hand? Keeping the light on during the day, coinciding with the natural daylight to keep things easier for you?
I also picked a time where I wouldn't have to crawl out of bed everyday just for the lights....set it at a time when you're already up, like the 9s? I'm up that early for a few classes and work anyways, so it's not a big deal and I'm always up until at least 9PM LOL

Well i go people coming round.... so i turn on lights at 8pm - 8 am ^^ then when ppl come round no light can be seen ^^

brought this old school timer i was freaking out ^^

If it was me i would let it stay dark for 24 hours as letting it stay light for 24 hours could cause it to begin if only a little bit to go back towards veg.
