If CO2 is being used, during what weeks of the growing cycle is it not necessary or in fact, detrimental to crop health? What is the maximum CO2 ppm you should ever have in your room?
co2 is good through all stages . plants breathe in co2 so it helps plants get more vigor and helps with the yield too. 1100 to 1500 ppm's is typical. I've seen some rooms rockin at 2000 ppm's
Different growers do different things. Some people cut off co2 completely for the last 2-3 weeks. Some drop it from the high levels in mid flower down to around 600ppm for the last 2-3 weeks (which is what I would reccommend). Some don't drop co2 too much (like 1600ppm to 1400ppm and then 1200ppm before chop) although critics say this restricts the terpentines and cannabinoids that produce the beautiful smells, flavors, and colors. IMO max at 1600ppm you can go higher or lower though. Good Luck.
I have never grown marijuana. I just like to research the cannabis plant.
