Default Jock horror grow
yo all,

first of all, i had a post up last week on ppm questions and was too busy to follow up on it - so thanks to all those who answered. preciate it.

these five lovely ladies are jock horrors i got from nirvanna and are now @ day 45. they are lookin fan-fuckin-tastic except for being way small for their age. tallest one is 27cm, shortest @ 23cm.
thinkin it might be the 3.5 liter containers they're in. i'll move them up tomorrow to 7liters and hope it'll do something. cause i was planning on flowering these by now.

anyways, enjoy the pics. i'll update as it goes along.

I doubt that it's the size of the pot you need to be concerned with.

How do you measure the ph? Did I answer your ppm question?

Either way, there is a definite ph problem, and I believe this has caused lock-out. You should see signs of deficiency on the leaves.

You need to flush the plants, allow to recover... then feed with a regulated ph and ec/ppm feed.

What light period did you use for veg'? Have they shown sexual maturity, or pre-flowers yet?

ph problem? doubt it. i ph to about 6.2. absolutely NO signs of any deficiency whatsoever on the leaves. great healthy shade of green, with no signs of stress (except for some heat stress about two weeks ago which was solved by raising the light a bit).
i'm still vegin under 18/6 with 400w HPS lamp.

What are you thanking me for? I've only just posted in there after reading this post. Made me check on it.

After 45 days of stunted growth you feel you haven't got ph problems? What are you using to check ph? and are you checking ppm?

confused you with someone else from the other post. by bad, bro

anyways - i really dont think that there's a ph or ppm issue here. i'm using a standard ph kit to check my water after ro (ph 7) and after mixing the nute solution (always 6 - 6.5). fletch confirmed in the other post that the flora series nutes are known for low ppm readings (my nute solution is @ 450 or so).

and besides - plants are looking very happy except for being circus midgets.

guess there must be something else at work here.

So you're using liquid litmus...

I'm just thinking that with all that perlite in there this is almost a hydro grow.

6.2 wouldn't be too bad, but you can't tell 6.2 from colour.

A couple of weeks ago, around week 4 you should have peaked your ppms to 1.0-1.2ec or 700-840ppm.

You may say your plants are not undernuted but i have seen signs on your leaves.

You have an undernuting problem, and i believe this is also caused through a ph lockout in your medium as well as feeding the wrong levels of nutes throughout veg'.

The answers are always the same.

You don't see the red veins running down your leaves, nor the red/purple leaf stems?

Your pictures are very vague... but when you know what to look for the signs are visible in your pic's.

What do you want? For me to tell you that this is some unexplainable event and for you to carry on regardless?

Fine, do what you want.
