Default Digital Greenhouse 400W Ballast MH/HPS
Did anyone buy a Digital Greenhouse 400W Ballast MH/HPS from HTGSupply? I'm wondering how is it? Any problems or returns? I can't find anything about this brand on the web. thanks.

I bought one a couple of months ago from the same place. This is the first ballast of any type for me.

So far so good. It works fine and no problems.

just buy the damn ballast man..making multiple threads will infact get you little to no answer as oppose if you made only one thread.

if we keep telling you to buy from htg, then obviously its a reason for it. we're potheads and stoners....we dont like to waste our breathe for no reason....we'd rather use it for our smoking!!!

if your not going to use the advice....then go back to your expensive ass website and buy from there...

Ok ok, easy there. I just don't want to buy something that I'm going to regret. Shits not cheap that's why.

I just went through alot of frustration, lost light on my plants, and $50+ in shipping charges I can't get back with a 400w digital greenhouse ballast from HTG. Long story short the ballast was very loud when I got it, and after about 3-4 days the bulb blew. I had to call multiple times to get ahold of someone there, and it tooks days for an e-mail answer. I was pretty much taken care of in the end with a partial refund/exchange, but I had to mail the broken shit back on my dime, and eat the original shipping charges. I ended up going with a Lumatek ballast from N.E. Hydro and higher quality Argomax bulbs from HTG...and losing 3 days of light on my plants. My advice would be to spend a little more upfront and save yourself alot of headaches, (I'm on my 3rd ballast/bulb in 2 months).

What he said, I would add to it but all you HTG lovers seem to want to give me negative feedback everytime I say HTG has problems. He bought a digital ballast that was loud enough to wake him up if that give you any comfort in their products.........

Gotta jump in on this one and to begin I've got no experience with HTG so I'm completely unbiased but this experience with 'em doesn't sound good. Also I agree this crap aint cheap and without sacrificing quality in product or service I wanna get it right the first time on the set up. My question though is which company offers the most bang for the buck? Been looking at a local spot, discount hydro and others online. Any recommendations? Looking at lights, ballasts, fans, really all of it and would prefer to get it all in one spot cause it's both more convenient and easier to work discounts.
