Hey guys, This isn't my first grow, but in fact my first shot at an indoor grow.

Chemo, Purple Erkle and Train Wreck Grow!

I have a quick question about energy emissions, I have 2 beautiful lights that i've aquired, one of which is a 400w MH that i've built myself custom, and then a really amazing 1000w HPS that my friend has given me. I just moved in to these new apartment complexes, i'm wondering if I run the 1000W HPS all day or atleast 18/6 how likely am I to have the DEA knocking at my door?

any help you guys can throw my way is greatly appriciated.

youll be fine, i run a 1000watt HPS at my apartment too. its been several years since my first grow, ive always used 1000watt switchable. your monthly powerbill will go up roughly $30 to $60 more. no worries at all.

i heard thats how the get them with the copters in the sky... but you'r in an apartment !!! impossible to tell...... only done with houses and you would have to be growing like 400 plants.... or more !!!! you get the deal ???

its actually against the law for them to infrared scan your spot with a chopper unless they have a warrant

now that doesnt mean the cops always follow the laws themselves so they might just do it but technically it is illegal and if you had a good enough lawyer to prove it you would get your case thrown out

and if they did have a warranmt for it then they already know and your probably gonna get caught anyway

i would be more worried about your neighbors hearing the fan going unless you get a super quite one cuz that light is gonna make shit hot and youll need a fan for exhaust all the ones i know people have are pretty loud
