Electricity bill, how much can it increase without suspicion?

I am a new mmj indoor grower, just got my card a few weeks ago.
I have a few lights, nothing that would even increase my bill by even
$20 a month. My computer uses more electricity.

I'd like to go for my "legal" limit, which would be way more than what
my current lights could do.

How much have some of you increased your bills by without causing
any suspicions from the electric company? I pay $0.10 per kwh.

I know I have a mmj card, and I am "legal", but I do not trust this state
or country.

I'm in the US btw...

Anyways, I'd like to do 3X 600 watt HPS for flowering, and enough lighting for veg, clones, and mothers.
It would increase my bill by an additional $110 probably according to my calculations.

Would this cause any issues or suspicions? My regular bill is roughly $120 a month (sometimes more, sometimes
less, depends how hot/cold it gets outside), so my bill would nearly double.

just pay your bill, thats all they care about..its not like you are going to run $1,000 power bill all of a sudden...mine is up 90 dollars from the normal. the meter man who reads my meter smells the exhaust coming out of the window while he reads the meter. he doesn't care and he knows what im doing..but then again im legit and not afraid here in california. so just pay your bill then thats all they care about..

people get caught when they steal power and their meter doesn't add up to the usage on the grid so they investigate. but if you are using $220 worth of electricity and you pay it then there is no need to be suspicious on their end. you get what im trying to say because i kinda dont haha..

I wont steal anything, not my thing. Even if it is overpriced. I'm legit too, and in your neck of the woods (kind of), I just don't trust our government.
I don't think I'd go too much larger than 3X 600 watts, maybe double that at most, 6X 600 watts. But that is not definite, I'd like to focus on the 3X
600 watts for a while first...

I'm new at growing indoors within city limits, 1800 watts seems pretty big to me, but probably pretty small in comparison to some others. I just wanted
to do some research and hear some feedback from others with experience in this before I spent a few thousand dollars on lights and other stuff.

you're welcome kind sir. as long as you are not selling your product or flashy about it then nobody will know or care that you are growing pot. you in cali some where?

I recently moved to cali, the way north. I'm originally from Minnesota.
Not really looking to sell it, but more or less to get rid of my insomnia and back pains, and share with my friends (whom I have known
for 20+ years, and they're legit too) 1800 watts may produce 1oz a day (1800 grams divided by 60 days flowering +/-) Me and my friends
can kill an oz in a day easily. I work from home as a web designer, so I don't have to answer to any managers or anything. And I know the
more weed I have, the more I'll smoke. Plenty of times I bought an ounce, and told myself it will last a month. 10 days later I'm looking for
another oz. So 3X 600 should do it.

Any strains you would recommend to a noob? I'm looking at C99, and WW, maybe one super connoisseur quality strain, like TD or SLH. M.O.C's
'Carnival' looks pretty promising.

Spring and summer are coming, just like putting in some portable or window a/c units. no biggie
