I transplanted clones to 4 " pots about a week ago and they are doing nicely under fluorescents. I'm moving them under a 600 watt MH Sunmaster dialed down to 360 watts; reflector is the adjusta-wing. Right now the canopy is about 32" from the light; Plants are off to the side not directly under the light . Fc are about 1000 to 1500. Is this too much? How much can I increase the intensity per day and to what level? According to Cervantes I can increase to 2500 fcs. But how long should I take?
This is my first time starting under lights. Most of the plants will go out side in May. Some I will try to grow under light in a grow room - yet to be constructed.
I'm in the Bay Area,Ca.
