Default harvesting and mother plants

I was wondering if its possible to keep a plant alive after harvesting it, by putting it back in a 24 - 18 hour light cycle where it can recover and be used as a mother. Two out of the four plants I'm growing seem to be growing really fast. Would like to keep them as mothers (if they are females) after I harvest.

I actually was just talking to someone else on a different thread about this... Someone asked and I said I didn't think but someone told me you can put it back on 18/6 lighting.

what thread was that? Was there any useful info on the topic like how many leaves to leave on the plant etc...?

Yes i have done it lots of times..just leave some fan leaves at the bottom of the plant after the harvest...it takes time thought...a good month till you see some new growth...good luck

If your growing in soil it might be good to repot them into bigger pots aswell... all the best

You can do it but it is really not worth it. Just start over with a new plant.
