So basically what I am planning on doing is putting 3 mini carbon scrubbers in my car that run off pc fans... My question is, would they filter out the THC in the smoke to? I frequently hotbox my car and want the smell to be gone but with the good stuff in the air. Would they do this since they only take out the odors?

yeah it should filter out all the shit in the air but dont think your going to be able to smoke it or anything, a long time ago i read something that said that when you take a hit something like 90% of the thc in the smoke is absorbed by your lungs instantly
