Eating fan leaves while pruning---POP would be proud!!! Ha Ha

I cant seem to help myself. Im a new grower and as I started pruning some fan leaves off to open up the light, I was intrigued by the fresh musky smell of my little Royal Queen Super Kush #1.

So, as I snipped leaves and stems, I plowed em in my mouth and chewed them up.

Very tasty I must say.

Now its a toss up.....Do I keep putting all my trimmings in the freezer for hash later, or just eat the evidence.. lol...

Anyone else every do this? Ha HA...

I smoke mine. Since Ive otherwise not smoked in a year I can enjoy the THC in them pretty phat.

I dont know about green ones, i dont cut those off. but the yellow ones are very tasty.

Are you getting enough folate in your diet?

I don't know for sure that leaves are going to be the same as bud, but eating raw bud isn't good for you. It has fine silicate structures that form rods and actually cut up your digestive track. It can cause stomach pain and long term problems in humans, and has been responsible for many animal deaths (this is well documented in vet journals). Cooking it breaks down the silicate structures, and makes it safe to eat This info is also in any marijuana themed cook book.
