how many cfls with how many watts should i use on 6 vegge plants and how many when i switch to flower...hoping there mostly female

plz people help

not many people will flower with cfl so the help will be bad or nothing. i have never flowered this way so i recomend as many as you can fit.

your results would be 5X as good with better lumens HID even a small one is priceless

From what I've heard it's not really the watts you're looking for, it's the lumens

Sunlight emits 10000 lumens per sq foot, so you would want to try and mimic that for your grow area. Do the math

Humboldt is growing around that many plants I think and he has near 20 bulbs

how big do want the plants to get? You're going to need a fair amount but we need to know if you plan on vegging big guys, little guys, etc? Also I like abudsmoker can't give you any help on the flowering part, I won't use CFLs to flower. I know I'm going to hear it, and no I have nothing against CFLs I use them in certain instances....CFLs aren't very good with flowering, wispy weed go with an HPS of some sort its worth it.

like abudsmoker said, not many ppl flower w/ cfls...i actually have a lil bud of some whispy ass fluffy ass weak ass nugget grown under cfl's from a buddy. it barely gets me high. i always make fun of this buddy cus he always either hermies his crop or ruins it by flowering with fluorescents. if you truly want good herb, get atleast a 400watt - the buds will be dense and stinky.

i guess it's already been said by gygax, i agree with him fully - cfl's work good for veg, but dont produce weed that efficiently in flower.
