Default 3 Gallon Pots OK??
This is my first grow indoor. Will be growing 60 plant in soil mixed with the proper nutrients (NPK). I bought 60 3 Gallon plastic pots. These pots have the little holes around the bottom for drainage. I also bought 60 of the dishes to sit the pots on. Is this OK or should I of went with 4 or 5 gallon. Books are telling me 2 to 3 gallon.

For my intents, purposes and restraints; 3 gallon pots are too big.

Ok. First I wanted to be small on my first grow But my friend who has grown for 10 years insisted on 60 (My card + his me being caregiver makes 60 legal in our county of california). He will be helping me everyday so I think I should be OK. I bought the 3 gallon plastic pots at home depot. They are prtty pricey. $3.87 each. Then of course the right size plastic dish for the pots are another $2.87 each. Cost a little over $400.00 for 60 of both. I must say this thought. It is my first grow and my friend has grown for many years and has been very sucessfull with it, however, I have read many books and seem to know a lot more about different grow processes and the general anatomy of the plant and it's characteristics. This is what will give me the advantage in the future I am hoping for. Thanks for the advice guys.
