How long can you veg for?

Hey im a new grower and am trying a stealth grow in my closet. I am making a box about 3 feet high 4 feet long and 3 feet wide. I was wondering if that would fit 4 plants. I was hoping to do 2 flowering and 2 vegging plants. If i were to do that because of the limited space I would have to be vegging for like 4 weeks. Is that even possible and if it is will it make my plants gigantic? Ive been trying to get some smaller seeds. Is there any strain or maybe a growing technique that could keep my plants smaller?

You can veg for as long as you want, and 4 weeks is well within that timeframe. What light are you using? This should determine how tall your plants can get. It is quite possible to grow ounce plus plants in 1 square foot/plant. Prune, bend, scrog, etc can all be done to limit height. Or maybe go straight to flower with little/no veg period.

Thats good to hear. Um im planning on using 3 cfls in each compartment. Would that be an ok set up?

Try to use 40-50 watts/square foot for flower and slightly less for veg if you have to. I would shoot for 50 watts/square foot for both if possible. This will give you a good return.
