not sure about generators, but i do know 5000watts going on/off every 12 hours might flag your house. also the heat is going to be hot, so youre going to have to run the a/c constantly. as for sleeping w/ all the risk, im growing giants in my apartment as well as shrooms..i dunno if its worth the risk or not, but it sure does make life interesting. i get paranoid at night cus thats when i smoke the most weed

ok a little update...with the above link and northern farmers thread it seems vertical would be the best way to go...here's what i have (4) 1000w agrosun gold mh (2) 400w agrosun enhanced veg mh....i'm going to build a clone rack with 5 shelves 50 clones per under t-8 flouros...i know northern stadium pulls 7+ pounds every 2months but you really can't grow out anything too tall and i'm thinking a stadium setup for my first indoor grow (for those that haven't read the whole thread, i have been an outdoor grower for quite some time) might be a little overwhelming...anyway i was wondering about this setup ......

flower room (4) 4x4 tables with a 1000w over it
veg room (2) 4x4 tables with a 400w over it

16 plants per pot (how is that spacing for flowering?)

all organic in soma's flower beds

all beds would be on a 2 week rotation with 1 month veg (can be increased or decreased) i know a good average from rooted clone to flower might be an ounce..with the extra month veg do you think i could get a couple ounces per plant or 2 pounds per 4x4 planter??? northern pulled 7.5lbs off a stadium on 4000w...i don't mind the extra 800w if will give me the 8lbs (4 a month) that would give me a total of 8lbs every 2 months

also what is the opinion of the masses on keeping mothers or just taking cuttings from my identical vegging plants???

rent a house unplug everything, water heater uses around 5000 like 60% of the day go to the circut board and turn of everything excet the outlets u use, use the outlets in the garage and run extension cords they are used to running washers and dryers witch can pull 5000 watts on average. no light no hot water no air no nothing. no oven no kitchen
