Ok im still confused about this flushing thing I have heard people say they dont flush until its 2 week's before harvest but I have also heard people say they flush every 3-4 times feeding.
Well my really most important question is when you do flush do you like ok I have 3 gallon pot's so would I just water the plants tell I see run off and thats flushing?? or is flushing like taking like 3 gallons of water and just keep pouring water to get it all out or does all excess stuff come out when you just use water?? ya I kinda rambled but if anyone understands kinda what im askin I would really apreciate the help Thanks alot

Hey, Kali...I use hydro, and assume your using soil so I'll tell
you what I do with my cubes.

Every other res. change (20 days or so) I flush out the nutes
with ph'd water for 15 min, twice a day.

after about six weeks of flower, I only water with ph'd water
on the same cycle until harvest.

Sorry I can't help you with the soil.

What about flushing under the faucet for about 15 min then topping it off with pH'ed water; that seems like it would be a LOT of mixing, checking etc. to get all that water pH'ed just for it to go down the drain; it's not like the plant is going to be gulping it down anyway. In my thinking, if you displace the water in the soil or RW cubes with pH'ed water at the end it wouldn't be a problem. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i run water through my soil till it pours out the bottom of the pots to get rid of salt build up from nutes...check it with dutch growers and they will agree if you use soil it needs to be flushed...i do it every 7-10 days...if you want to see how i do it ill tape it next time..let me know

actually you should flush with 2times the gallons of soil you use. so if you are using 3 gallon pots you should add 6 gallons of water per pot. check run-off if its the first time you've done it with those pots to make sure you dont drown them. lol that would suck ass!!
