Default my first grow space
just wanted to see what anyone had to say about my first little grow space.

Currently there are 15 or so pots underneath 5 100 w lights. and they have four 2 bulb 40w cfl's running along both sides, and five 2 bulb 40w cfl's on the top. I plan on just adding shop lights up along this sides as I grow my plants.
I also have an oscilatting fan that is on the plants and I have a diy co2 bottles.

Any input on what could be better or worse haha let me know.

Thanks for any input!

looks good man, but im pretty sure you dont really need co2 till flowering. are you planning on flowering under those lights? Id go Hps unless you are going to buy tons more lights for all those plants.

I guess I could try and step it up to some bigger lights, but for now I'm tryin' to keep it with cfl's...I like the way they fit and the way they fit together. I am planning on getting more shoplights and literally encompassing the grow box with lights.

I read on here that the c02 really helped during all points. But I guess I could obviously be wrong. Either way they have seemed to have taken to the c02 but it could be unrelated.

my plants are about 6 inches tall after a little less than a month since sprouting, and I've had them in all different types of setups since i first started and that might have stunted their growth a little. However this one has really got them going.

Is six inches average for less than a month since sprout?

I have a few different kinds growing. There is a purple kush in there, and afghani...pretty much just came out of a seed collection we've had.

Any more input would be great.

Thanks!

looks nice man, i like the walls of light. floros are great for vegging and alot of people use them throughout the grow and are happy with them.

i think co2 will help you during both veg and flower cycles, but temp and light have to be just right in order for it to be effective(lots of each).

good growing

Thanks for the input everyone....keep it coming. Its pretty cool to see something you started as a seed grow as corny as that sounds haha.

I like the wall of light too, but what do I know. I think its a pretty cool setup that will allow light penetration to all parts of the plant. I see everyone with the big wattage bulbs but its hard to get full penetration.

has anyone else used the 100 watt eco grow lights? I had a few plants that I brought back to life just by clipping one of those things to the side of the pot and putting it right over it in the clamp light.

Attached is a picture of the plant that sprouted first and has shown the best growth.

so my plants have been in their little grow space for a little over a month and they are all about 5 inches, my tallest is 7. Is 5-7 inches normal for the first month of vegging? I feel like they aren't growing too fast but considering its my first grow and I'm with them every half an hour its hard to tell.

Thanks!

This picture is about a week old, they are all bushier and about 2 inches bigger apiece at this point. Also I have a few different species growing. I'll put up new pics tomorrow and hopefully someone can help me determine what they are since I just started growing out of a collection of good seeds we had collected over the years...

Happy growing to all
