Ok, I know I made a topic about this, but I am starting over, the last box was too small...

so instead of buying 2 cfls I bought 1 42 watt cfl. There are 2 fans cooling it
and a hole on the side of the box so it can vent.

The light stays pretty cool, it gets warm but I can touch it so its not bad. I planted some germinated seeds in this miracle grow shit, for flowers and vegetables... its all walmart had. It seems clumpy... Idk.

I only want to grow 1 plant, and try to keep it small, Idc about clones or anything as long as i get some sort of bud. good or bad.

Now, I never planted the seeds in soil, I usually used peet pellets in the past, (only started them for friends never kept on by myself). seems harder to get them to sprout in soil

I put the timer on 12/12 straight away. tips? help? comments?

Hey man something i would recommend to you is..1st if you just want one plant then start atleast 2 since you only have a 50-50 chance of getting a female....AND FUCK THE RISK FOR A MALE. Also i would say give them atleast 24 hours of light until you get your first full set of leaves then switch to the 12-12 also i would advise getting atleast 1 more light down the road for flowering so its not a total waste of time...hope i was some help

personally i my self am a fan on the mini grow rooms because i still live with my parents and i cant have them find out but some advice would be
1. dont start them on 12/12 because you at least need like 2 or 3 weeks in veg so its worth it + its bad for the plants if you give them no vegg time
2. you might want to have another 42 watt cfl light because when you get to flowering your gonna want more light. a light splitter would be good. you can plug in two bulbs for one scocket they cost like 2 or 3 dollers (USD))

keep it covert and make a box in your computer fan. I have 3 26watt cfls in there with the same fan that the computer had when i gutted it. It works like a champion.

this is awesome man....almost exactly what i plan on doing this week with the small box i just built. Probably going to use this as a model if you don't mind haha

and is this cfl 2700k or what?

I prefer 100w per plant...(especially when using CFLs) Might want to rethink the fans if heat becomes an issue because im sure the exhaust fan is just pulling the air right out of the intake fan and not really circulating. nice little setup man good luck
