I have a question to all those who grow at a large scale, say in a 10x10 area, or larger. WHat type of dwelling are you in, and why arent you getting caught, andhave you had any run inss with authorities( i am asking those who do not have medical permission). I am thinking of running 3 1000 watt at a time, give or take, is their a large risk i am taking, should i make this like a 2 or 3 cycle thing or is it wise to think i could do it for an extended period of time. I kno the risk involved( consequences), but i am wondering of any exp. growers have any advice for a newb in the large scale grow ops area. I have successfully done 4 grows each time improvng, would love to make eboughto store away for a longggggg timmmmeee, maybe seelll a lil , to get me even.. Any advice would grreatly be appreciated?-----Thanky You in advance

Well, you are asking us to describe where we grow?? And why we aren't getting busted. For one thing I'm not running 3-1000 watt lights. I have workshop attached to my garage. All of the work to the room I did myself. VV

i am trying to get input from people who are runnng 3000+ watts in their home, apt. etc. that are not stealing their elcetricity. As well if you would describe how you set your room up. plants lights, how to divide,(panda plastic?) etc. any input would be great. And no one has ever, or will know i grow. not even the gf. so not worried about you divide by 100 rule. more worried about a meter maid coming out and checking my nice home, in a gated comm....thank you in advance

If no one knows, you won't get caught. If you tell even one person - your odds of getting caught are 50/50. If you tell two people, it's only a matter of time before you get caught....

I've got a friend of a friend and.... this person got caught Drunk Driving. He ratted out his Cocaine Dealer to avoid big time DUI problems - nice huh.

It helps if you can cut back on other usage. Such as if you have electric heat, then don't heat the place, use heat from the lamps. If you have a/c, cut back while you're growing. Some Canadian jurisdictions have new laws passed that the house can be inspected for unusually high electrical usage. 3000W is pretty sizeable. You could for instance alternate between two grow rooms, have one on at the same time the other one is off, that ways you won't get spikes of current that can show up on "smart" metering systems. If you have 3000W only running for 12 hours, then that's a net of 1500 watts over the 24 hour cycle. I would have to see you usual utility bills, and see what a house like yours in a gated community typically uses. Peace.

I would also consider using light rails - you can cover the same area of weed with half the lights, are you able to use a generator in the grow enviro to produce your own electricity and not take off the grid.
