Default What do you use to heat your room?
My grow room is in my garage. Now that it's winter it's starting to get cold out there. Especially, when the light is off. So, what do you guys do to keep your rooms warm?

i have the same problem in a way,i would say get an inline carbon filter, and a piece of shit door.
depending on the vent size, cut a hole in the top of the door(for the vent to go into your house) then cut about an inch off the bottom of the door.
draw hot air out the top and the cool air will replace itself though the bottom, keep it on all day long and it will keep constant airflow.day and night hot and cold, actually help heating your house when the light is on.
try also light on at night if light is sealed enough, cuz the night is colder of course.
this should help,if you can run it this way.
good luck and keep on growin

Depending on the size of your room....get an oil filled heater....and you should be good. Try to not let the temp drop more than 15F degrees from the lights on temp. Running the lights at night helps alot as the earlier poster suggested.

Drink!

if you can find a small heater with an auto timer/temp control that would work also. that way even with the lights on if the outside temp takes a major dip it could kick on as back a back up. try the local home depot or walmart

i am in the same type of situation. i run my lights at night when it's the coldest. i also set one of these just outside the intake vent to my room. it supplies heat and CO2. got it on craigslist for $50 last year. best thing i ever bought.
