whats your pH?(the spots could be pH inbalance)
Have you given them any ferts?(hopefully you havent, it would also cause the spots)
How often do you water?(they look a little overwatered)
took a hottub test strip and put it in the same water sorce im watering my plants with and it came to about 6.5 - 6.8 then took the same amount of soil as water mixed it in a container shook it and let it stand for 5 mins then cecked that the ph was also about 6.5-6.8 so now i know (hopefully) about my ph. mabey the yellow spots are nute burn, but I only mixed a mild mix. mabey I gave too much of the nute mixture?
I would definately say "slow down on the watering!" They look mature enough to change your water schedule to every 5-10 days. One inch is too shallow to finger moisture test. put your entire finger, 3 inches or so. if dry, time to water. make sure you water plenty, (till you see water drain out the bottom drain holes) and letting it get dry every time prevents root rot, and makes the roots reach down deep for moisture, which is neccesary for the plant to support the buds wieght.
