I TRANSPLANTED MY WW WHICH WAS GOING GOOD IN A SMALL POT BUT NEEDED SOMETHING LARGER. I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH OF MY ORGANIC SOIL LEFT SO I MIXED IT WITH MIRACLE GROW WHICH INCLUDES PLANT FOOD. NOW THIS IS WHAT MY BABY LOOKS LIKE. NOTICE THE YELLOW LEAVES!!
I AM NOT GETTING PAID FOR ANOTHER WEEK SO I WAS THINKING THAT I WOULD TAKE SOME REALLY GOOD SOIL I HAVE IN MY COMPOST PILE AND MIX IT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF MIRACLE GROW OR SHOULD I JUST LET IT RIDE? ON ANOTHER NOTE THE PLANT DOES SEEM TO BE GROWING MORE SINCE THE TRANSPLANT.
ANY IDEAS?

this is miracle grow indoor potting soil with plant food

I used the same stuff but mixed 1 part perlite for every 4 parts of miracle grow and it seems to work pretty good. Below is a pic of a 4 week old from my current grow. I also used miracle grow full bloom for flowering. I only used 1/4 strength though.

I don't Miracle Grow is your problem. It may be that you did not flush your soil....seems that your plant may be over-fertilized. You should flush your babies monthly; also check your nutrient level regularly so that you don't over-fertilized. I try not to stick with the same nutrient solution throughout the grow cycle so that I don't stress them out. Good luck.

Miracle grow is the problem flush it...flush it!!!! I hate the MG it fries my plants...flush!!!

i know this may sound retarted but how do i go about flushing? the pot has holes at the bottom, so do i just load it up with water until it comes out of the bottom? what happens with the soaked soil; wont that over water my plant?

Flush excess fertilizer (salt build-up) from your pots monthly; that is the general rule. Here is what you should do; flush pots with at least 2 gallons of water for each gallon of soil.

Flushing is different than overwatering, flushing usually requires pour tons of water through the soil to get those nutes and salts out. Overwatering is when you cut off O2 to the roots by water too frequently. I always use about 2 to 3 times the water as the size of the pot so 3 gallons would require anywhere from 6 to 9 gallons. Also you could transplant instead and do a smaller flush but I did read about the lack of funds at the moment.
