Default Germinating then to 12" grow pot?

Ok I am planning on germinating 3 female seeds then once they sprout putting them right into the 12" pot I am going to use the whole time with Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. Is this ok or should I plant sprouted seeds into a smaller pot with different soil? I don't want to go through the trouble of transplanting and getting different soil.

Try a smaller plug, like rockwool or peat plugs. Once the roots are established you can put in the pots you have.

Do that or start with some soil and perlite in plastic cups

What would be the problem with planting the sprouted seed in a large pot though?
