From my very limited personal experience and watching my friend do stuff.

They look kinda small for 3 weeks. What kind of light do you have and how far away?

i got:
2 24inch 20w fluro tubes
2 24inch plant fluro tubes

and 3 42w CFLs
i also thought they were kinda small what kind of nutes should i be using im using schultz 10-15-10

I don't know enough to give you advice on nutes sorry bro =/ I just use Botanicare liquid nutrients and follow their instructions on the back =/ they sell them at my local hydro store and on ebay and they are clearly labled for grow and bloom phases, i like picking stuff up from the hydro store cuz the guys there usually can point you to the right stuff for your setup, hydro/soil etc..

As for the lights, how far are they from the plant?

mine looked like urs at 3 weeks, what strain? as for the nutes, during veg you want to use nutes that are higher in Nitrogen which is that first number so maybe get something with a little more, i use 20-20-20

I'm thinking maybe they're not small for 3 weeks cuz I am growing from clones and my friend has been too.

If its from seed then it probably is the right size *shrug*

my plants looked like that at about 3 weeks, now at 7 theyre from 12 to 16 inches with no nutes other than miracle grow (got bugs though)

thats mg soil not fertalizer. i know very little about fertalizer

mg soil is soil with fertilizer already in it
