I currently have a setup consisting of 3 2 Bulb T12's and am reading a lot of information about T5's and how much better they are. Do I need a completely different ballast for the T5's or can I just get T5 bulbs and stick them in my T12 ballast. Or are ballasts specific to a T rating?





Also, is it just me, or do these look like male preflowers to you. This is the only plant where it looks like something other than leaves growing out from branching stems.

You need the T5 fixture, it has a special built-in ballast.

i have 4, 2 foot t5's in a 3 foot by 3 foot room. full mylar. i have 8 6" clones, is that enough light? i also have the red bulbs for them. can i get an alright yeild from them? or should i go to an hps next time?

this light will not be enought for flowering ....and for vegin them too 8 plants are 8 plants man
