| | Electronic pest control | | Today I was sitting back smoking and happen to come across a box of some old stuff I forgot about. Well I went through it and found 1 of those little electronic boxes that is supposed to emitt that ultra high pitched sonic sound that repels mice and bugs like flys, fleas, cockroaches and spiders. My question that I came up with is has anyone used these in grow room to try and control spider mites, gnats, or whiteflys?? I was thinking this might be worth a try since I found 3 I forgot about and am getting ready to clean a greow are out and start a new grow but the last one had gotten spider mites. So I figured after bombing and cleaning I might toss 3 of these in the room and see if it stops any pests that might try to move in. Anyone ever used these in a grow room with any success?? |

| | Dont follow you as the electronic device Im talking about has no lights. Its a little box you plug in and it emmitts a sub sonic noise that hurts rodents and bugs ears and heads and also disrupts thier electronic brain waves.I know it will drop bats and stoips roaches, crickets, moths and mosquitoes pretty well. |

| | I read a study on those electonic devices and it pretty much claimed they were b.s. But I have one plugged in either way. I have not had a mouse in my home since installing it, so maybe there is something there. I just think i spent $20 dollars on a blinking LED light.

| | well the ones I have you can kinda hear the sonic noise if you hold it up by your ear and you can adjust its frequency on the back. I got it when I had some mice and mnoth issues in a storage shed and they never showed up again so I say it works but will have to seee on mites. I did play with it out side and use a dog surgery plastic collar as an amplifier and went out and aimed it at bats.It really screwed them up they were like lost and I could get them to run into stuff if I was paitent enough lol |
