| | Dude, go to homedepot or lowes and ask the person in the light department to show you the HPS and MH secruity lights. Any of those that say 70w will work. I guess you could get one of the 150w and put that bulb in there, but either way anywhere that has a decent selection of lights i.e. Homedepot, Lowes, and some walmarts will have HPS Secruity lights. Now, you may have to adjust it to where its not motion sensored and some only come on in the dark. I guess you could fix that by covering up the sensor so it thinks its dark all the time but im not sure. |

| | Well for that size area you could grow a shit load. Depending on how you do it that is. You could do a sea of green or just grow them flat out. I would say about 10 females would be perfect for that size room. Now, if you are only going to go with one light get a HPS 400w or better. For that size space its just going to take way to many cfl's. Your best bet would be a 600w, they are the best all around light. 1000w is sometimes to big and hot, and 400 sometimes isnt enough. Ask anyone in the 600w club and they will tell you. If you have a little bit more money get one that has both mh and hps. Or just get one or the other and buy conversion bulbs. Still, hps is the best all around light. But, if you have to stay stealthy and you dont want to spend alot of money i would split that room into 2 rooms. One smaller one for veg, seeds, clones, mothers and the bigger one for flowering. That way you could use cfls in both sections. Just some thoughts, but keep us posted. I want to see what you decide on.

| | Look dude, i did the same thing as you. When i was getting ready to build this and start i had all these ideas of what i was going to do and how it was going to look and everything changed! You need to just get started and do what you need to do. Dreaming and thinking is good for awhile, but once you get started most of your plans will change. I hope everything goes well, im sure it will. |

| | You dont have to split the room in half. Just 2 sections. The veg, clone, mother room only needs to be like 2x2 or something very tiny. In it you only need cfls or floros. But, if you have the means or money i would make a seperate veg box. Just something small with cfls and use the whole closet for flowering like you said. Just sit back, take a deep breath, relax, and start slow. You are planning and thinking way to much. Just start slow man, slow. |

| | yeah, my gf always tells me i think too much and go too fast too. lol. im already started and yeah im taking it step by step but i am also getting to the point where im going to switch from my flouros to an HID setup and need to get it going cuz my babies been growing for two weeks now. they are all pretty healthy looking too with two being about four inches tall with three nodes. three others are smaller, maybe four days behind the bigger ones. im just trying to see how to maximize my area without wasting time/money/room. i think the final answer is...600w mh/hps switchable digital air cooled jumpoff. one room for the first grow since i will need to concentrate on this one, it being my first and all. then when i move onto grow number two, work on splitting up the space to account for both different stages as well as clones. also by then ill have more dough to buy more supplies such as three different lighting environments. right now i think i can manage only one. so thanks for your help, i know i think/type too much but i got a lot goin on in this stoned mind and its all good stuff.
im going to take pics to document the grow but wont post them until the grow is complete just for my own peace of mind.
