Yeay!!! I designed this badass last night. I think it embodies all I have learned from doing my research and fits into my budget nicely. It will cost roughly $531 by my estimates. Picture speaks for itself, hopefully. Any suggestions are welcome and I am hoping to have someone give me an approximate yield. I will be using this for flowering only and using 2 4' T-12 Ott-Lite Flouro's for vegetative stage along with the 2 70w HPS bulbs. I'm trying to be very thorough and get a good yield and not just waste my time. I planned this out to be a super-grower and quiet. Too bad it will be six months till I get a taste of this bud. BTW I will be cloning the best female.

I will be posting pictures throughout the entire grow. One picture a week. I hope you guys enjoy the progress. I figure Ill vegetate it until its roughly 10-12" tall and then flower until the buds are enormous. Sounds good to me. Anyone know good seed companies that ship discreetly to the states? Also if anyone knows of a good 6 plant hydro kit let me know of one. I'd like to experiment with a hydro operation the next grow.

My thinking is what 2 months for veg and clone right? Followed by three month flowering and one month dry and cure. Is my timing off?

10 days clone
20-30 days veg
60-80 days flower
10 days dry

= 100-130 days

yikes


Make sure you have some clones lined up and ready to go... so you can shorten the time between yields..

Little things i've noticed in that setup.

You have a 7x3x7 space yet you way only 6 plant pots. you could have 8 in that space easily with 2 rows of 4 and still give the plants more space and not necessarily need the extra 70watters although having them at the ends will improve the bud of the end plants.

You have 2 4" inline fans in that picture for the exhaust and inlet, however you have 6" ducting.

Yeah the 6 plants was conservative and in my opinion gave the six more co2 than eight plants would need and use. I figure a 600w HPS and 2 70w's would be better than just a 600w HPS so why not use them for the flanks like you noted. As it is my first grow I wasn't exactly sure how much space each plant would need of floorspace so I erred on the side of lesser yields. As for the fans, Im not too sure how I will work this. As they are not super powerful exhaust fans I planned to double them up on the post-filter and post closet points. I figured use the one to pull through the lamp and filter and the next to keep it going until it exits the space. I ran the lamp/exhaust like this because I think it may benefit the environment to slightly heat the air passing through the filter, drying it out more and making the odor causing organic material more easily reactive to the carbon. Just my philosophy on that. How much power in a fan and scrubber should I us for this size space? Thanks for the support. Getting the cam ready for a few vegg pics.
