Default PPM pen said use 1382 cal. but I got 1000ppm

I just got a ppm pen and it said to use a 1382 ppm to calibrate it, but I only had some 1000 ppm liquid. Will my pen still function properly using the 1000 ppm....I thought about it for a while and it seems like I should be fine but I don't really know. After I calibrated the pen and rinsed it and put it back in the 1000 ppm it was reading a little off. Any help would be appreciated
