Thoughts on ozone vs or + Carbon Filter?

I'm using a small grow tent, I heard that an ozone generator can eliminate odor better and also help keep bugs away, anyone head this?

I do have a 4" 175 cfm inline fan that I would like to attach some sort of filter on but I'd really like to know that i have the odor under control.

is ozone+ carbon filter overkill? negatives?

thats what i would like to know. Neither are cheap, so if i had to choose 1 what would be the best?

i think the carbon filter + fan combo is the best out there.

if you have the money you could all ways do both. I believe the fan carbon filter will work the best for cleaning up any smell. you can stand right where my exhaust blows and you can not smell anything...open my box and the smell will almost take your breath away. my water/gas meters are in the same room as my exhaust..lol..they only read them like every 4 months anyway, got to love gestimated bills...

I do have a small ozone generator the only time it gets turned on is if someone (inlaws,friends,ect) is going to spend the night (maybe 3-4 times a year) and sleep on the same lvl of the house as my room.

and remember in HIGH amounts ozone is harmfull to living things plants, animals, people,ect. etc.(takes a lot of ozone though..)

what kinda ozone generator do you have? and what kinda filter do you have? i'm lookin at bulding my own filter so i can refill it when i need to and to save some $ to put twards a ozone gen. from what i have read the UV type are the best?

I personally use a Ozone Jr. Good for up to 1000 square feed. Does the trick well enough.

is the fan filter combo I use (damn that's a big link..lol..)

edit: about forgot the filter can be taken apart and you can change the carbon yourself when time comes.. and the fan is just bad ass TD fans are great..
