I wasted money on those things.. they work good at first but if you have any humidity going through them they die fast. You can wash them but I don't think they work as well as they did the first use.

DIY carbon filter works just make sure it seals really good.

Otherwise buy a can fan and a huge carbon fillter ($550 USD) ... haven't gone that far yet but it might be the next step because I feel I am outgrowing (no pun :P ) the DIY filter.

dont wash them vacum lightly,put in dryer,and good to go.

Hi Bud is the odorsok worth buying instead of a carbon filter do you only have yours on when the light is on or is it ran 24/7 i,m growing w/widow #1 from the Doggies nuts range & there real dank so wot do you suggest i have 1mtr squared grow tent with 600watt hps light any info on the odorsok would be well appreciated the Budbhoy

I use one nd they work great. Just throw it in the dryer for 45 minutes on high heat to reactivate them. they are the same thing as a carbon hunting suit that people use to hunt and kill the smell on themselves.

I know this is from an old part of this thread but...

I was wondering about how many plants are you covering with the odor sok?

What is the size Sok and fan motor?
Type of fan?

I've got the 6" 450cfm piece of shat....dont waste your money like I did. get a real filter I've been using my sok for 2-3 weeks now,no air leaks,low humidity,proper cfm....GARBAGE.my house wreaks,went and bought activated carbon today gonna get aluminum screen and nylons in the morning,then I'm gonna fill the sok with activated carbon and use it as the housing for my new diy filter....figured I might aswell get my money's worth out of this junk, gonna make her into a real filter...first thing in the morning. I know some people have had great success,but I on the ther hand will not be wasting my money on another odorsok ever again.I recommend you dont either.
