I have tried to grow in the past with soil, but I never made it past veg stage. These are my two Grand Daddy purples that I got from clones. I vegged for 4 weeks, currently they are 26" tall and into day 7 of flowering.
I will be switching from the nutrient "transition" into full flowering in 3 days. I am using the botanicare line of products. Grow, bloom, and Karma. I have been able to push my PPM to around 1850 without nutrient burn in veg stage. And I am letting my PH fluctuate between 5.5 and 6.2, it's fluctuating on its own and I only adjust it when its above or below that. They are drinking roughly a gallon of water a day, and it is starting to get old going to the grocery store to fill up my 5 gallon water jugs lol. These are in a DWC Bucket, 5 gallons.
The light is a 400w MH using the hortilux blue bulb. I used it for veg, and I am going to use it for flowering as well. I tried to supercrop during veg, as well as topping. I definitely have quite a few colas? kolas? lol
So really, this is the farthest I have ever made it when attempting to grow good herb, and I just want to get your thoughts and opinions. How do the plants look? Did the topping really work? Or would they have created that many colas on their own?
I appreciate your feedback, and I will update weekly!
