Hey Jaimee is your tent up and running? What type of light you using? I have the same tent coming but I'm worried I'll have heat issues running my 1000watt in it. IDK how I'll set it up yet but I'd like to use one fan and have a passive intake. I still need a filter too. Hmmm...

Allright, so i encountered my firts problem........one of my ladies is getting yellow tips at the end of the leaves........all of them are getting the same amount of water and nutes and are in the same soil.............just dunno was happening to her.......
any ideas???..................tnx.

Alright so I'm looking into to different set ups. I need advice on how many plant i can grow in each. also if i'm headin in the right direction.
1st tent-56"x56"x78"tall,600 watt light, timer,Thermometer / Hygrometer,FIVE 6" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro,TWO 4" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro,two 6inch clip on fans.GrowBright 6" Tall Boy Inline Fan & Charcoal Filter Combo(maybe two).
2nd tent- 98" wide x 55" deep x 78" tall,two 600 watt lights or 1000watt, Thermometer / Hygrometer,FIVE 6" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro,TWO 4" Vent Ports with Covers attached with Velcro,two 6inch clip on fans.two 6" Tall Boy Inline Fan & Charcoal Filter Combo.
Help and advice please.
Oh and seeds are big church and lemon skunk with ajrans strawberry and vanilla kush.

Well I've decided to go down the tent route as, in all honesty, I haven't got the DIY skills or the patience to build a cabinet.
Are the secret jardins the best? And has anyone used the secret jardin twin grow tent? I figure I'll need a clone area at some point so might as well get the all in one

i got the htg supply original. read above to see some of the problems ive had out of it. definately getting a jardin on my upgrade

i'm looking into buyin a tent from them but now i'm thinkin i might not should,I can't seem to find some of your problems. can you inform me on them, i don't feel like dropping all this money down the drain

lol, how big are your pots? I think the record for most plants in my 5x5 has been 16, and there was no wiggle room. That was also a SoG.
Realistically, most people won't want to be hassled with more than 10-12 plants per 5x5. It's not a whole lot of fun moving every plant just to get to the ones in the far corners.

I want to do 5 gallon pots. Yeah I need room to get to them,that's why i'm thinking about a bigger room. any advice?

4'x4'x6.5' tent
2- Air Cooled 600w HIDs ( one of each spectrum )
6" 400 CFM Inline exhaust to carbon scrubber
2- 4" desk fans for air movement
Temps: 77f @ canopy lights on 66f lights out
Humidity: 25%
Will post pics as soon as I get to comp as I'm on iPad..

I am running a 600 watt dimable HPS/Metal with 6" air cool hood. I talked with the guy that sells these tents and he says 400, 600, 1000 is all good just vent it properly. I pull air thru the carbon filter, thru the hood and then out of the tent, I leave a vent in the bottom of the tent open so when you draw the air out of the tent it does not "suck in" and try to collapse as if you were sucking in on a paper bag. You need a vent open!

Right on that's good to hear! And I'm deffinatly going to give it good ventilation. I'll leave a vent on the bottom open aswell. That's what I meant by passive intake. I'm just hoping I won't have to put a fan on it. Sweet got my tent yesterday too so I'll blow it up as soon as my clones root.
