My afghan are 18"-12" away from 1000watt hps now after 2 months growing in soil.Is there something wrong here ? I have read that optimal distance would be 3-4 feet away. Does this mean my light is loosing efficiency? The light is a phillips and stored in my garage for 3 years before I used it. Would having it sit aroud that long cut down on it's efficency.
