Your plants are the best indication of when they need to be watered. I never liked using a water meter simply because I want my soil to dry out more than a meter shows so my roots can seek out moisture and develope a stronger root system. But I never let them go totally dry.

Also I can't believe the subject of watering your plants with piss is still going around! Forget the piss it'll kill your roots. Dumb F***s! Why the hell even think about it when there are so many great nutrients on the market. The only thing I can figure out is those people are not serious about growing Cannabis, that and maybe they are to damn broke. In eithier case they should get the hell out and forget about growing all together!

go spend five bucks and get a moisture meter, it's definately worth it

iv got my plants in a organic compost/coco fibre blend to keep the soil loose so the roots are not cut off from oxygen and for this reason i can water pretty much everday without the roots being saturated . moisture meter all the way .

dude, plants will survive many droughts, but can die from just one overwatering. i water minimal, to keep the gnat population down as well.

COCO!!! yes, thats what im switching to once i harvest next month. cant wait! i should have dont it years ago. im more excited about coco growing than i am about hydro growing!
