Comment if you want, but if you only want to read my journal and see pics, just scroll down to see pics. I try to post new pics every day or at least every other. Thanks so much to everyone for all the advice!
2wks from germination. And check out the purple stems everyone is talking about. I dont think its a good or bad thing...it just happens. It took them 3 days in a paper towel, then 2 in the soil. The first pic is the 2nd day after they had sprouted. They were under 2 flo's and the temp was around 75 and humidity was 50-55. The other pics are 12 days after the first. They are in a 4x4x8 with a 1000w HPS, air cooled hood with 6" vortex for exhaust and passive intake. They are in Foxfarm Ocean and using Earth Juice Grow and Catalyst. We also have 2 fans, a small heater for cold nights, and a humidifier. So, what do you think?

Edit: there are so many because they were bag seeds. Half will probably be male, then out of whats left we will select the 10-14 best, most healthy females.

Wow, do you guys just not read the thread at all? Or do you just go to the pictures? Like i said before...We have that many because half will probably be males, of whats left we will keep the healthiest and biggest females...ONE PER POT. They will be transplated as soon as they show sex. Please, please read before you post. Thank you!

Those are 5gal pots. They will not be too big for those pots. They will show sex in another 2wks or show by preflowers...they are fine people. If you dont take my word for it, im sure some of you believe fdd and he even said its fine. He's grown 3-4 females per pot with NO PROBLEMS. Its a myth that they "choke" each other. If you get rid of them, its fine people. Now, lets move past the plant/pot ratio and get to how the actual plant looks.

UPDATE!!!!!
They are now 15 days old. Most had grown 2" since yesterday, the biggest growth was 3" to height and 2 and 3/4" in width.

1000w HPS
Soil:Foxfarm Ocean Forest
Nutes:Earth Juice Grow and Catalyst on half, Earth Juice Grow, Catalyst, Pureblend Cal-Mag, and Dyna-Gro Pro-TekT on other half. Every other day.

They are starting their 4th node tonight, it will be out with 5th node started by morning. They add a node every day. I think ill probably start topping and training in the next day or two. So, what does everyone think. And please remember not to comment on plant/pot ratio.

HoLE, thanks for the comment. But about growing balls, i guess you didnt understand either. Im going to get rid of the males...then i will select the healthiest females. Now, if it turns hermie i guess it could grow balls, but hopefully not all of my 10-12 maybe 15 max plants will turn hermie. God i hope not, that would suck and be just my luck. All of my females turning hermie...

Durban, give it up dude. They arent going to get over the fact i have more than one per pot. Im just going right past any comment about pots, i dont care about it any more. All i care about is that ALL of my plants are fucking awesome. No wilting, yellowing, spots, bugs, or anything negative. Im doing something right huh Durban. Thanks for the support everyone!!

Its cool HoLE. I think all the negative comments are coming from people that are going purely on what they've heard and/or read. I can almost guarantee none of them have grown more than one per pot. And the thing is, im only growing more than one per pot for about another 3 weeks. 5 weeks total. fdd said he's grown 3-4 females in a pot all the way to harvest, no problem. The whole "choking" thing is a myth. Its not like im going to pull them out of the pot and tear up the roots. Im simply going to cut the males at soil level causing the roots to die, causing no further harm to the female. Its so easy and simple it almost doesnt seem real ya know?

Also, heres a quote from fdd in the "Too Many Plants Update" thread.

"funny stuff.

i've grown and flowered 4 females in a 5 gallon square pot. they did fine. roots choking each other....ha. funny stuff.

yes you can train them away from each other. this would be a good grow to show everyone. i believe we have A LOT of myths to clear up. hope all grows well. keep us posted.

i love you"

Everyone seems to trust him...
