Hello MacGruders! Here's me little inside grow...

I'm baked and bored so here's my very first post...

About a month all in. I'm trying soil, but still sold on Hydro, esp DWC.

I'm trying Willie Nelson b/c of rep/difficulty to grow and StrawberryCough b/c I want a PURPLE.

I should be flowering pretty soon. I gonna grow a little taller but the WN is a straight up Sativa and she's already stretching upward.

Anyways, here's some pics..me brothers and sisters. I try to get week to week. The last was taken right at 1 month. Kinda sux that the start was slow. I used some clone crap instead of my usual Formulex and paid.

The external pump system is my own I designed to make it easy to clean. I hate DWC w/ submersibles.

My Plan? Big Ass BUDS. The rest is up to M. Nature.

holy shit...tha hydro plants are growin crazy...the soil is still the same size....how did u set that up...mine could been fuckin huge by now!

Hydro is zipping along. Is that DWC with a drip going around the base as well?

Hi Serotonin. The DWC is an external pump design I made myself. Here's more detailed pics (1-3)

The root systems will fill up a 5 gall bucket if done right, but play Hell with a submersible

(pic 4).

Big Plants = big buds = Good & Plenty! Here's one from my last grow (pic 5, like I had to tell you)

Cost: Around 12-13 bucks (excluding pump).

looks nice. will comment more tommorow. drunk currently and cant say much sorry. Nice buds though. Looks like the nug im smoking on now too as well. do you know what strain it is?

Hey Serotonin... Nope, no hydroguard, but I do use Rhizotonic first two and Cannazyme starting 2nd week. I also have two airstones in each bucket running from a reef pump. So getting rid of debris, keeping temps down and oxy up are keys.

Check out this root temp chart friend. It's from Univ. of Ohio horticulture department. I'm working on a project, half completed where the res is outside the room (pics 4,5). It's passive but with insulated hose the roots are running 1/2 degree cooler than room temp. Soon I'm going to change it to an active, timed system

This is based out of some work in Singapore featured in horticulture magazine (gotta dig up the link, very cool work).

kochab - That's AK-47 from a harvest this spring (this bud dried in pic 3). This one was a sativa dominant pheno. I'm smoking it now and it is a brain blaster. Here's a fun fact --AK has the distinction of having won 2nd place best Sativa and 2nd place best Indica in the CCup (two diff years).

Flowering in one week or at two feet. WN is already at 17 inches (topped twice) so it may not be that long LOL.

I appreciate it. not that many actually post pics back for people. I may look into growing some ak strain for one of the 4 available slots i have in my next grow
