i am getting ready to start my first grow and i have read up on how to do it on all the internet sites (while sitting at work, being a telemarketer has its benifits) but i am going to be growing in area that is about 4x2 but the probem is that the height is only about 3 1/2 feet. so i have decided to use floro lights. so any ideas or hints would be appreciated.

You can grow in that area just fine. Do some research on the SCROG method of growing. Great for low headroom.

3.5 feet... ah man, wouldn't the pot/netpot+hydro res take up a bunch, then you'd have to grow your plants to a foot >.> then flower em another foot? any way of netting below the lights to keep the leaves from touching em, yet letting em grow? sorry, i r nub >.<

Yes, its called the SCROG method of growing as I said. SCR= Screen O= Of G= Green. In other words ... Screen of Green. SCROG.

Just tons of six-inch colas sticking above the screen if done correctly.

never heard of scrog. You could just top the plants.

I agree with Redd, go with a scrog.
