T5 and T12 Micro 2 plant micro grow flowering
The Plants:
Currently I have 2 plants that are about a week and a half into flowering. I believe they are indica dominant, but am not sure since they were bag seed(Came from good stuff, was really surprised to see some nice beans in bud of that quality. They were flowered at approximately at 9 and 11inches. These plants look extremely healthy considering all of the shortcomings in their set up
. This is all just a learning process. I love this website and it inspires me to learn more about what actually works from plant guys like UB rather than the popular trends....at the same time some of those buds are crazy. I would like to experiment with some different techniques when i have the $, space, and some more experience.
Lighting:
They were under 20-4 light for a month from seed in happy frog soil. They are growing under a 2 light, 2 foot t-12 and a 2 light, 2 foot t-5. This lighting is less than ideal but will have to do until next grow because there has already been way too much money sunk into this little operation. Also, I am not sure of the light spectrum of the t-12 but i know the t-5 is a veg bulb(Again not ideal). I'm interested in seeing what the final numbers are on such an inadequate set up...Also I am realistic about the outcome having seen my friends grow(max somewhere around an oz per plant on the better ones). Maybe I can beat that by a little considering his environment is worse than mine...but not getting my hopes up.
Cabinet:
the cabinet is slightly over 2ft wide X about 1ft deep X 6ft high. This gives very little space too work with, but its my first set up and will have to do until i move into a new house. Has one shelf with hooks and chains to attach lights near the top. It is lined with reflective material purchased from a hardware store.
DIY Carbon Filter:
The Carbon filter is made out a 50cfm bathroom vent fan that has been covered in layers of carbon from heater filters(not sure what kind)
Nutrients:
NSR Green Leaves Bloom Juice NPK(2-5-4) and Boost Juice. Also, today a friend who is also growing under t-5s and t-12s who is about to harvest gave me bud candy, big bud, and overdrive.
Clone Box:
I also have a small clone box that i'm experimenting with that has some clippings off the bag seed plants. The clippings were put in small (i dont know what they're called) with rooting gel recommended by the local hydro store. I do not know what i am doing when it comes to this especially; once again not willing to spend more money at this point...so its a crap shoot....They are under a 125W compact fluorescent. I have been misting them frequently and put a piece of plastic wrap over them to prevent them from drying out
Pictures:
coming soon hopefully assuming i can get my act together and figure shit out
Feel free to post comments, questions, and suggestions!

the curled leaves in the front are a result of being pressed up against the door

so it looks like the only two clones that had any root development (on day 7) were the two that look like they were topped....maybe the others died because they were taken once 12-12 started or the two that lived had thicker stems? I had limited space so nature decided which ones to keep for me!
