Thread: Help My gdp wont flower..3wks now

hey guys i have a problem im growing granddaddy purple from seed my plant has been i veg for 3 months the plant looks beautifull has been showing white hairs for a while now but now that its been in 12/12 for 3 weeks it hasnt showned any signs of budding i am ussing a 180watt ufo led illuminator any help here? oh ps. and my plants pot stays moist for long periods of time since my light emmits no heat so i water once a week sometimes a week and a half could that be a reason it hasnt flowered?

Make sure there is no light leaks and make sure it has reached maturity(it will have alternating nodes)

no the plant has no light leaks its in a closet and on a timer the plant has 12 nodes already its super bushy would cold weather have an affect on it?

although this is odd, it happened to me with a 4 plant grow, none flowered for like 3 weeks. they did start flowering eventually and after they started, i noticed that my heater was giving off a good amount of light. make sure your not still using veg nutes, no light leaks 100% positive, and im not too familiar with using led's, but i also had my hps too close which slowed its flowering. so light distance may be an issue. give em time, they will start if your doing those things right

yeah sometimes it is below 65 degrees our winter here in santa cruz CA its cold during the day the max is low 60s and at nite it goes as low as 33 and im not using a heater and i havnt used the fox farm veg nutes since i started my flowering phase thanks guys for your help i guess i just have to let them go and have them take their course and theil eventually flower if anyone can help out a little more i would defenitely apreciate that..!

change the lights to 10/14 too boost the flowering hormones.. once u see flowering growth accelerate u can switch back to 12/12.
