im startin out for the first real time growing i started before but with stupidity
im lookin for ideas about first starting to grow i want to use cfl lights if anyone can help me or give a scenario that worked for them using cfl lights i would much appreciate it thanks a hell of a lot

I have seen people use 6 42w with a 150w output each on eight plants keeping the lights inches from the plants. they also used a small osculating fan to keep them strong.

they would water them when they were dry and keep the lights on for 24 hours.
In six weeks they had some really good plants to flower up.

well all methods of growing work. have you ever grown any plants before in dirt? thats about the easisest setups that i know of. If you have dirt seeds and $150 for a light then you can get started producing some serious buds man.

i wrote the guide, its pretty much exactly what i would answer to your question only this way i dont have to write it again when somebody asks.

Check out my grow journal. (check out my sig). I did it with great sucess for my first time growing having only recently started to smoke pot. I have yet to pay a penny for my marijuana and I dont plan to. I got my seeds from bagweed that a friend bought so I got lucky.

cfls work great for beginners. anyone with a habit to support would probably want to make the investment of about $150 and get a hps from htgsupply and use that. by the time u buy enough blue and red cfls to veg and flower 3 plants and the cost of the box you can buy a 400 watt as well. Ive used both methods recently in the same room and this is my honest opinion. cfls are wonderful fluro lights for growing, just not good cost effective for more than 2 plants when buying all the equipment neede @ one time.
