Default is this light too close?

hey i just started my grow with one seed. It sprouted 3 days ago and its been under light ever since..
is this too close or too far for the light to be above the plant..

i forgot to upload the picture as an attachment. just copy and paste the photobucket link to the address bar...the temps are around 74 to 78f..is that too high?
