Can that 200+ppm water in and put out less then 9 ppm.
One note thou.. You will nedd to add some cal-mag or similar. Your tap water has trace minerals and r.o does not. I know... Filter out to put in, but hard water is just bad to work with.
yep definately need calmag if ur gonna be using r/o water

R/O water is where it is at. I grew for years with tap water, the nutrients wouldn't buffer and I'd always have to PH the mix. I have a few saltwater tanks and got sick of constantly going to the fish store for water and bought a RO/DI. I could kick myself for not doing it years ago. So far I've notice that the nutes buffer perfectly with very little drift. Cleaning my rez's is easier, I get no salt or weird sludge build-up.
A R/O filter is the single best investment you could make for your grow hands down. Especially when you can get one for around $100 bucks. You'll recoup that in no time, considering the amount of gas you will spend in making trips to get filtered water from stores.
