1000w Hps in A 4'x4' Hut???

well i have a smaller closet box. dimensions are 4' H x 4' W x 1'9" Deep. Its alot smaller than yours and i have the temps at about 89 at all times with a 170cfm fan for the light. yeah 89 is pretty high but i cant get it any lower and this is my first grow so we'll see how it turns out. but yeah i have a 600 W in there too so yeah im pretty sure your not gonna have any problems.

Use a small carbon filtered piece of drainpipe for a kind of chimney if you have a heat issue

If its the 4 x 4 hydro huts 600 watts is maxin it out because of heat isseues if it was the big hut then you could go 2 600 watt light or even 2 1000 watters if you really wanted to but you d need close reflectors that are air cooled and some good 250 cfm fans 1 for each then 2 more 1 for intake and 1 for out take as the hydro huts are designed to grow with negative pressure meaning the sides should slightly suck inwards when setup right.Slightly greater out vent then intake to create that negative pressure is what makes these grow so well.Good luck

You will be ok for 12 hour flowering but anything longer without venting and i think you will have heat issues i have roughly the same set up mines bigger and if you dont vent the heat things do get warm even using a fan as it will only circulate the air in the room and i could fry an egg on my 400w hps when its been running,try to get some venting and you should be good.all the best

heat stress slows the plants alot, try to maintain 70's rather than high 80's

I've been debating the same question. Currently I'm using 400w HPS in a cheap open batwing reflector and a 465cfm exhaust fan for the closet. If I got a cool tube or closed reflector it shouldn't be a problem for 400w but I can't imagine 1000w being manageable.
