whats the cheapest high quality HID light? and shouldn't you use MH for veggitative and HPS for flowering? thanks

use mh or hps, you dont need both per say. mh is perfectly acceptable for the whole grow

yeah i know but im going to have 2 rooms 1 for veg and 1 for flowering so i can harvest every 2 months instead of every 4 months. i was saying which is best for veg and which is best for flowering cuz i will be using 2 400watt HIDs at the same time

save the money and use shop lights for your mother and clones. you dont need the 400watts for veg unless you will put them under a bigger light for flower. your plants will be huge and your 400 will lack the penetration to develope the under growth. i use a 400watt mh for veg then move to a 1000watt hps for flower. you will save alot of money on the light as well as elec. floros work great. 6500k spectrum or pretty close, no lees then 5500k t8 or t12's less then 50$ at the big box store.

also if you have say like a 60day strain, start half your flower room 30days before the other half and harvest every 30days!
