Do you guys think i can fit 6 plants under a 250w HPS for a SoG grow or is the too many for a SoG grow? If so what the max for a 250w hps?

I think you could do that but me personally I'd rather veg em for a bit and try to top to fill out your canopy nicely so you can use that whole 250 watts and get the light real close to your plants for deep penetration within the canopy. However, it's a matter of preference! Best of lcuk

go for it... id rather do a scrog with a 250 i think youd have better results but who knows

not sure about the us but in ireland you barely notice a difference on your bill. i run my light through the night when leccy is cheaper and darkness through the day. may i recommen you look into soing a scrog. i believe this will give the best results with a 250

sog with a 250 will do good..why do scrog when you can get the same amount quicker with more harvest from sog??but it is a matter of preference

You can fit a lot more than just 6 if you wanted. Plant in cut off 20oz or 1 liter plastic coke bottles, fit as many bottles as you can in a 2-3sq foot space and veg to no more than 8" for single cola's with no branching.
