What's up guys, my mind is always making up these ideas on it's own so if this sounds crazy that's why haha. I was wondering if there is a way I could set up some sort of timed pump and water resovoir to water all of my potted plants every 3 days or so. I figured this would be pretty awesome because of how much it would cut down on all the work but obviously still b checking on them everyday. Please inform me of any ideas if you've heard of or tried something like this before

Anyone? Imagine not having to go back and forth with water every other day and trying to water evenly, it would be like a robot doing it for you haha , well if I make my own contraption I'll post some pics

Depending on your water supply, it would be easy to set up a auto-water system. I am definatley doing on my next cycle. I am currently using a reservior and hand watering with a wand. my 55 gal barrell sits about 15 feet above my room so I just gravity feed to the room. You could build something to raise up the reservoir and run a hose out of the bottom to some drip rings in your pots. Then you would just have to set up a valve timer to come on every two days. You would have to monitor the first few feedings to determine the time the valve would be on.
OR.. you could put a pump in your reservior and have it on a timer. I am going to use the drip rings when I set up mine, but you could use the 360 deg sprayers in each pot too.

hmm, good to know, def have some things to think about lol. a valve timer would be cool though once i determined how long to leave it on i would be alot happier considering i wouldnt have to sneak into the room and water all the time. thanks for the input

lol you could use the aqua globe from the tv commercials...but obviously if you have multiple plants this idea would not be cost effective... those are probably 20 bucks each haha

It will cost you 50$ no more, very simple and fun construction. set up some drip sites, get a pump, 1/2 inch vinyl tubing, drip line, and a rubbermaid resovoir, and a timer. done. easy, fail safe. o YEA get a pump adjuster so you can control flow of water. its badass bro. do that shit.

Are you feeding them tap water? If so and there is a water supply right there, that is easy. Just go to home depot or lowes and pick up a garden timer. They have the onse that you just screw in a garden hose to one side and drip lines to the other.

If you are using filtered water and nutes, then you will need a res. w/pump.

I would definatly set something up if you have to "sneak". Let me know what you decide, because I have a veg room that I need to set up on auto and would like to hear how you set yours up.

That's what I like to hear lol, I don't mean to b annoying but could u possibly list the parts I would need if using a resovoir and where I could get them. I would use a hose with a garden timer but I want this to be super stealth and not have a hose running through my house haha
